How It Works

01. Program Eligibility

Priority is given to children from low socio-economic backgrounds and equity-deserving families, ensuring access to inclusive, empowering programming.

  • After-School Programs
Available to students in Grades 4 to 6 attending our partner schools. Please refer to the program site map above to find a location near you.
  • Summer Camp
Open to children ages 6 to 12, with a special focus on supporting newcomer families and creating welcoming, culturally responsive experiences.

02. What does it cost?

Our programs are completely free for participants—no fees required!

03. Partnership opportunity

We work in active partnership with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to deliver programming that empowers children and youth. Our approach is flexible and responsive—designed to reflect the unique needs, goals, and interests of each partner.

For example, some schools may request a STEM-focused program, featuring hands-on activities like robotics or engineering challenges. Others may opt for a more holistic mix, combining physical fitness, wellness workshops, and literacy sessions.

By co-creating programs with our partners, we ensure every offering is relevant, meaningful, and rooted in the needs of the children and communities we serve.

ELYCA Participant

The Youth Work Exposure Program provided me with the necessary training to find a job, particularly, working with children and youth. The sessions on workplace communication and child development taught me a lot, which gave me the confidence to apply for other jobs. I am doing well in the job interviews by applying the knowledge I gained from the program.
