01. What is Youth Talk program

Youth Talk supports newcomer youth in strengthening their English skills while building confidence, relationships, and community connection. The program empowers participants to integrate successfully and contribute meaningfully to the spaces they live, learn, and work in.

02. How it works

In partnership with Edmonton Public Library (EPL), Youth Talk offers weekly in-person sessions at multiple library locations, along with an online option for those who prefer virtual participation.

In-Person Sessions:

  • Clareview Public Library: Mondays, 5:00–6:30 PM
  • Castle Downs Public Library: Thursdays, 5:00–7:00 PM
  • Londonderry Public Library: Fridays, 3:30–5:00 PM
  • Mill Woods Public Library: 4:30–6:00 PM

Online Session:

  • Wednesdays: 5:00 - 6:00pm

03. Eligibility

  • Newcomer to Canada youth (PR status)
  • Aged 12-2

Land Acknowledgment
