Children and Youth Programming

Children and Youth Programming

Our rural offices are pleased to offer free programming for newcomer (immigrant and refugee) children and youth. We have weekend and school break activities, and host day camps during the summer holidays. In each community, the program offers children and youth the chance to try new things, explore nature, and learn about resources where they live. During Children and Youth Programming, newcomer children get to have fun while practicing English and making friends.

Partners for our Children and Youth Programming have included Alberta Ballet, the Reynolds Alberta Museum, the Alberta Legislature, Camrose Fire Hall, and local recreation facilities throughout the province.

Children and Youth Programming is intended for ages 5-17. If you would like to sign up or learn more, please click on the “contact us” button below.
