The PASS project identifies and addresses barriers that prevent racialized and newcomer youth from accessing sports and physical activities. It brings together stakeholders to co-develop inclusive strategies that foster equity in sport and recreation.

Key objectives of PASS:

  • Identify barriers faced by racialized and newcomer youth in accessing sports and physical activit
  • Facilitate collaborative sector-wide conversations to develop shared solution
  • Help newcomer families navigate existing systems and resources
  • Empower racialized youth to participate in sport as a pathway to integration and belonging
  • Raise awareness of racism and discrimination in the sport sector
