Testimonials

I came to AHC in January 2025 looking for support with updating my status with the CRA and help with my Canadian citizenship application. My case worker assisted me with the CRA-related issues. At the same time, he helped me through the entire citizenship application process. They guided me in creating an account on the Canadian Citizenship portal, filling out the application online, uploading all the required documents, and paying the fees. Their support made the process much easier and less stressful for me, and I’m very thankful for their help.

Since 2023, my case worker in AHC has supported my family and me through important milestones. He first helped us update our names on our Permanent Resident cards. More recently, he guided us through the Canadian citizenship application process—creating an online account, completing the forms, uploading documents, and paying the fees. Thanks to his great help, my brothers and I passed the citizenship exam and officially became Canadian citizens. It was a proud and unforgettable moment.

Action for Healthy Communities is one of the places I am most happy to visit, because of the warm reception and the wonderful employees. I especially mention Yasmine who was one of my biggest assistants to me in applying for Alberta Income Support, registering for Basically Babies package for my newborn baby, applying for travel documents, and registering us for Civida community housing. AHC staff worked with a pure heart and love, so everything was successful with us. Thank you to the AHC and Yasmine
