During this holiday break, the youth at AHC participated in their annual Youth Winter Celebration, facilitated by AHC's Healthy Children & Youth Program. Over the course of three days, students played board games, partook in a scavenger hunt, went skating and tobogganing, listened to music and danced, and made crafts together. These activities allowed the youth to gather during the cold season and continue to interact with their peers, practice their English skills, while participating in fun activities. Land Acknowledgment

As an organization working towards improving peoples’ well being, we acknowledge our presence on Treaty 6 territory and Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route for the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene, Ojibway, Anishinaabe, Nakota Sioux, and Inuit, as our responsibility to extend support for healing to our Indigenous Community members during this difficult times.
